Shreerama Foundation is a compassionate and committed organization dedicated to transforming lives affected by drug addiction and mental health challenges. Founded with the vision of creating a healthier and more supportive society, our mission is to help individuals break free from the grip of addiction and mental suffering through a holistic, non-judgmental, and personalized approach to recovery.
At Shreerama Foundation, we believe that every life is valuable and that recovery is possible with the right guidance, care, and environment. Our specialized De-Addiction Treatment Programs offer structured rehabilitation plans, professional counseling, medical supervision, and emotional support. Whether someone is battling alcohol dependency, substance abuse, or behavioral addictions, we walk with them every step of the way—towards hope, healing, and a renewed sense of self.
The second wing of the Shree Rama foundation is comprised of a dedicated de-addiction and rehabilitation center that especially caters to addicts and alcoholics whose lives have been devastated by the horrible and morbid disease of addiction or those young people who are at the cusp of stepping into the tireless, competitive world of strife and struggle but are overweighed and overwhelmed by the looming turbulence caused by the use of addictive and toxic substances
We provide a devoted place for addressing the plight of addiction which tarnishes not only the social reputation of addicts and invariably destroys their fragile physical and mental health but also unleashes a crushing weight on the shoulders of such family members who have been blighted with the epidemic torrent of addiction and alcoholism.
While the Shree Rama Foundation does provide the basic infrastructure of a safe and harmonious atmosphere for addicts to mature and grow into sane, sensible and sensitive individual personalities, it also goes a step ahead of other rehab facilities in that it introduces the addicts and alcoholics to the revolutionary NA and AA programs (perhaps for the first time in their lives) so that they can better understand the relapsing disease affecting their lives while also slowly and steadily bringing them closer to study and reflection (along with other necessary aids and tools)which are so necessary in order to evade the vicious cycle of addiction that brings nothing but terrible suffering and pain and a foreboding, impending doom in its wake.

The Shree Rama foundation, “where healing begins”, has been founded by Saloni Katyal, soon after her mother’s demise in 2018. What makes the Shree Rama foundation, named after Saloni’s mother, Mrs Rama Katyal, unique amongst the mass commercialization of drug de-addiction and rehabilitation centers is the simple but distinct fact that the directors (Saloni Katyal and Puneet Uppal) are themselves recovering addict who have undergone the horrifying nightmare of addiction and alcoholism and boast of a rock solid foundation on the road to recovery with many years of experience in battling both the disease and the multifarious challenges faced during sobriety.

The inspiration and catalyst behind the Shreerama foundation are the parents of Saloni Katyal, Mr Sushil Katyal and the late Mrs Rama Katyal, after whom the foundation has been fondly named. When I was undergoing the haunting and harrowing specter of addiction, it were my parents who left no stone unturned in ensuring that I got the proper treatment. Without their helping, healing hands I wouldn’t have ever escaped the prison and hell of addiction and alcoholism. My mother’s last wish was to spread the message of recovery and hope for the untold number of alcoholics and addicts whose contraptions and miseries have been indelibly imprinted on my mind since my using days.
